Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 25, 2026  ·  Developer: Tony Piazza / SpiderInk

SimpleKeysVoice is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) letter board app for iPad. This policy explains exactly what data the app accesses, where it stays, and what we never do with it.

SimpleKeysVoice collects no personal data whatsoever. Everything you type stays on your device. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising of any kind.

Data stored on your device

SimpleKeysVoice stores the following data locally on your iPad only:

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back it up through Apple's iCloud or device backup, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Speech (text-to-speech)

SimpleKeysVoice reads your composed text aloud using Apple's on-device AVSpeechSynthesizer framework. No audio is recorded, transmitted, or stored. If you have set up Personal Voice (iOS 17+), that voice is accessed locally through Apple's framework — no voice data is ever sent to us.

Data we do not collect

App Store purchase

SimpleKeysVoice is a one-time purchase sold through the App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

SimpleKeysVoice is designed for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
